GOAL
We are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff in 70 buildings which total almost 7 million square feet. We work with building administrators and our custodial contractors to ensure that each building is cleaned to our contracted standards.

QUALITY CONTROL
Quality Control Inspections are performed each month while school is in session to ensure compliance to our standards.

MISSION
The Custodial Service team works directly with district health officials to quickly clean and disinfect areas that have been identified as areas of possible contamination.

Environmental Protection Agency Protocols
We ensure EPA approved cleaners and disinfectants and approved cleaning methods are employed during the cleaning process.

DAILY CLEANING

Offices/Classrooms/Hallways:

• Wipe surfaces utilizing a disinfectant cleaner
• Desks - top and bottom
• Chairs - top and bottom
• Countertops and cabinets
• Mop floors using a properly diluted disinfectant cleaner 
• Empty trash and clean waste receptacle inside and out with disinfectant cleaner and replace liner
• Custodial Staff will not remove any items from desk or countertops.

Cafeteria (SNS Staff is responsible for cleaning the Kitchen):

• Wipe surfaces utilizing a disinfectant cleaner
• Eating tables top and bottom
• Chairs top and bottom
• Vending machine buttons
• Mop floors using a properly diluted disinfectant cleaner 

Restrooms:

• Wipe surfaces utilizing a disinfectant cleaner
• Fixtures 
• Soap dispensers
• Toilet / urinal flush handles
• Partitions
• Paper towel dispensers
• Scrub toilets and urinals with disinfectant cleaner
• Mop floors using a properly diluted disinfectant cleaner 
• Empty trash and clean waste receptacle inside and out and replace liner 

Disinfectant misters will be used in all areas of the school building weekly
