GOAL
We aim to provide safe and reliable electrical systems to all school sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are responsible for the maintenance of all the electrical distributions systems. We repair the interior and exterior lighting systems, replacement of faulty light switches and wall plugs, and the replacement of bad circuit breakers. The Electrical Department also repairs or replaces the many parking lot lights throughout the district. Installing new electrical outlets and other power requirements needed by the district is also our responsibility. We also maintain the many district generators and services for emergency power.
SAFETY | INSPECTIONS | LICENSING | PERMITS
In addition to repairs in maintenance we coordinate with the Safety Director and work with several different city municipalities in terms of obtaining licenses, permits and inspections on district projects as needed for occupancy.
