It is the goal of School Nutrition Services to feed all students of OKCPS a nutritious and well balanced meal.

Beginning from the 2017-2018 school year, all OKCPS students can eat breakfast and lunch for FREE. The meals will be funded through the USDA’s Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).

By providing meals for students at no cost, we give our students a better opportunity to succeed academically and athletically. Research has shown that students who eat breakfast and lunch on a daily basis increase their attendance, improve their behavior and perform better in school.

Another great benefit of CEP is that it will change the perception of the cafeteria and make it a welcoming place for all students, regardless of their socioeconomic status. There is no need to fill out a meal application, a child qualifies for free meals just by being an OKCPS student.
