November 25, 2024 | OKCPS Application School Window Now Open

Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS) is excited to announce that the application window for the 2025-26 school year is open now through February 21, 2025. Application schools are free public middle and high schools with selective admission requirements. Criteria for selection may include a combination of achievement tests, attendance, auditions, grades and/or recommendations.

Belle Isle Enterprise Middle School, Classen SAS Middle School, Classen SAS High School at Northeast, Southeast Middle School and Southeast High School are seeking applicants with talents in fine arts, leadership, STEM, or those who have demonstrated strong character and academic excellence.

Any student currently in 4th - 11th grade can apply to one of our application schools, including students who reside in other districts. However, priority is given to students who live within the OKCPS boundaries.

“At OKCPS, we are proud of our application schools and the innovative opportunities they provide for students to excel academically and creatively,” said OKCPS Superintendent Dr. Jamie Polk. “From cutting-edge STEM programs to award-winning arts and leadership pathways, our schools prepare scholars for success in college and beyond. We encourage families to explore these unique pathways and join us in empowering students to fulfill their unique purpose."

Families interested in having their student attend one of these OKCPS application schools for the 2025-26 school year need to fill out and submit an application by February 21, 2025.

Additionally, students who attend Belle Isle Enterprise Middle School next school year will have the opportunity to continue their academic pathway at the brand new Belle Isle Enterprise High School, scheduled to open for the 2027-28 school year.
