Middle Schools: Winter Sports COVID-19 Guidelines
OKCPS Venues and Concessions
- Temperature screening will be administered at all venues by designated OKCPS temperature takers
- Everyone attending contests must social distance and have a face covering or mask
- No concessions and no outside food or beverages allowed – A bottle of water will be provided by OKCPS for each attendee– special thanks to Niagara!

Transportation
On remote asynchronous days, an athlete may practice but will have to provide their own transportation
Gym Capacity for Athletic Contests
**Due to limited capacity at MS Sites, no fans will be allowed to attend athletic games/competitions
Winter Athletic Contest Guidelines for Basketball and Wrestling
- OKCPS District COVID-19 screening protocols will be followed for student athletes before every practice and game/contest
- Masks are required for all athletes, officials, coaches, staff, and athletic trainers (unless actively participating in a game or match)
- Social distancing is required at all times for those not actively participating in a game or match
- The first two rows of bleachers may be used to allow social distancing of athletes and staff on sidelines and limit the number of people on the bench
- No shared personal equipment between student athletes and personal equipment will be cleaned and disinfected as often as possible
- Mats and basketballs cleaned and sanitized after every practice and competition according to manufacturer's recommended guidelines
- No handshakes or fist-bumps, at any point
