Viral Video Group Donated School Supplies to Wheeler Elementary
MEMBERS FROM VIRAL SOCIAL MEDIA SITE "ELLEN, WE BOUGHT A LIMO" DONATED SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO WHEELER ELEMENTARY
On Monday, August 13th, Kyle Brown, Ty Gatewood, David Sosna, and Jake Triplett-members of the viral social media site "Ellen, We Bought a Limo" pulled up in front of Wheeler Elementary in their limousine to donate school supplies to OKCPS students.
The viral social media site began in July, when Kyle Brown and Ty Gatewood, both 22 years old and from Edmond, OK decided to fly to Vermont to purchase a $2,000 limousine from Craig's List and go on a road trip in it across 48 states with one goal in mind: to gather TV personality Ellen DeGeneres' attention and have her invite them to her show. Brown and Gatewood were then joined by David Sosna, a 23 year old videographer from Missouri, and Jake Triplett, 26 year old full time content creator, who have been recording their cross-country adventures and posting the popular videos on their social media sites "Ellen, We Bought a Limo." The group of four have also strived to do good deeds along their trip and help as many people as they can - including the donation of school supplies to Wheeler students at OKCPS.
To obtain the school supplies, the four young adults hosted an event on Sunday, August 12th at Wheeler Park in Oklahoma City. The event included live music, t-shirt sales, and attendees had the opportunity to meet the social media personalities. Brown, Gatewood, Sosna, and Triplett asked attendees to bring school supplies to contribute to donate to Wheeler Elementary.
