Reporting Process for Employees

  • Reporting Positive COVID-19 Case

    If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, please do the following:  

    • OKCPS employees who work at a school building (with the exception of SNS staff) should report a positive COVID-19 test or exposure to your principal and/or your school’s contact tracer. 
    • OKCPS employees who work at the Clara Luper Center for Educational Services, the Operations Center, Student Support Services at Westwood should report a positive COVID-19 test or exposure by calling the district’s COVID-19 line, (405) 587-CV19*. SNS staff members and Guest Teachers should also use the CV19 line to report a positive COVID-19 test or exposure.

    *The CV19 line should only be called to report a positive case of a staff member. If you have general COVID-19 questions, please email covid19@okcps.org. It’s important that staff only use the CV19 line for these purposes to allow our contact tracing teams to respond as quickly as possible.

Reporting Process for Students

  • If your child is sick, has a fever or any other COVID like symptoms, please keep them home and contact the school for further guidance.

    To report a positive case:

    • Keep your child home until given next steps
    • Call your child's school

    Your child's principal will provide next steps and a return to campus date.
