Uniform Policy

  • Tops: 7th and 8th Graders

    Red or White solid collared “Polo style Tops”

    No bare midriff or lower bare chests allowed. Polo shirts may be worn out of pants.

    Tops: 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Graders

    Navy Blue or White solid collared “Polo style Tops”

    No bare midriff or lower bare chests allowed. Polo shirts may be worn out of pants.

    Seniors Only

    May wear their seniors sweats if they choose to purchase them both top and bottom daily.

    Bottoms and Outerwear: All Grade Levels

    Khaki or Black Colored Pants, Jeans, Shorts, Skirts, Skorts or Capris

    Cotton Only.  No shorter than “dollar bill width” above the knee.

    No Jeggings or Leggings are worn as pants.

    No blue colored jeans. (Black or Khaki jeans only)

    Absolutely no sagging. No hats or sweatbands can be worn in school.

    Shoes must follow district policy.  No sandals, “house shoes” or “flip flops”

    All Grades MAY wear John Marshall team, event or club T-shirts to promote school spirit.  Winter coats and jackets must be stored in locker for the school day. 

    Solid colored hoodies or sweaters, John Marshall sweatshirts, letterman’s jackets and school club/team jackets can be worn over the uniform and in classrooms. Non-JM Logos cannot be larger than an index card 5”x3”. Team sweat outfits only on Game Day.

    The uniform must be worn underneath.

    Student’s come to school for a great education not a fashion show.

    We want our students to focus on their education.
