The Oklahoma State Truancy Law says that parents have the responsibility of seeing that students attend school. Parents are required to call the school when their child is going to be absent and give reason for the absence.

Students that arrive between 8:20 and 9:30 are considered tardy. After 9:30, they are absent one-half day. If students leave before 2:00, they are absent one-half hay. A student that is tardy must check in at the office and get a tardy slip to present to their teacher when entering the classroom. District policy states that excessive tardiness may be turned over to the district attorney’s office for immediate attention in this matter.
