Appreciation of the arts begins at home. There are many things you can do with children in you own home that will develop an appreciation of their own creativity as well as that of others.

Art should be an important part of an individuals education pursuits. Many great historical figures understood the importance of Art. Leonardo Da Vinci, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson & Benjamin Franklin all kept art journals in conjunction with written journals.

Art is wonderful for developing fine motor skills, self discipline, and we can all see the progress and development.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, than kids who are learning to draw and paint are learning a new language!
