August 13th is the first day of school. The doors will open at 8:00 am. Students may enter the cafeteria and eat breakfast before going to their classroom. Breakfast is served until 8:20 am. 

Arrival and dismissal will take a little longer, because of the number of students arriving by car at the same time. Students that have a temperature of 100.4 or greater will not be allowed to stay at school. We are asking that all students are dropped off through the car line and unload themselves when in the marked unloading zone in front of the building. You will see marked poles to mark the unloading zone. Please have your child ready to exit the car when you enter the unloading zone. Your child may walk to building, but do not arrive before 8 am.

The front doors will open at 8:00 am. Drivers will need to enter the school parking lot from the south end, traveling northbound on Ridgeview Drive. You will travel in one row through the parking lot for morning arrivals, just follow the cones. Pull all the way forward in the unloading zone, before you stop to have your child exit the car. You will then need to exit the parking lot by turning northbound (right) onto Ridgeview Drive. Breakfast will be served in your child's classroom from 8:00 am-8:20 am.

If your child arrives after 8:20 am, you will need to walk your child in and sign him in.

Afternoon pickup will work in the same manner. Drivers will enter the school parking lot from the south, traveling northbound, and travel around the inner curb all the way around the front parking lot to the last numbered bucket #1 or next available numbered bucket. Dismissal will begin at 3:15 pm. This year your family will be provided a number for picking up your child, this will go home with them at the end of the first day. All you will have to do is put the number tag on your passenger's side visor and we will call your child for pickup. You must have this number tag to pick up your child. You can ask for more than one tag. We will help your child in your car and you must exit the parking lot by turning northbound (right).

Children that are walkers will be released at 3:15 pm through the North double door facing the Village Presbyterian Church between the teachers' parking lot and the playground. Please form a line outside the double doors and we will release your child to you. Walkers are not held at the door, they will just be released. 

If your child is going to ride a bus or get picked up by a daycare, please let your child's teacher know. Buses and daycares will use the circle drive in front of the school and not the front parking lot loop.
