The IB Diploma Program is a 2-year-program in which students study 6 subject areas-three at higher level (HL) and three at standard level (SL).
The Program also has three core requirements: Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, and Creativity, Action and Service (CAS).
the IB Program is designed around a learner profile consisting of ten ideas.
The IB has its own grading system with internal and external assessments for each subject. Scores for each subject range from 1 to 7 with seven being the highest mark.
The Diploma is awarded to students who earn at least 24 points. The maximum number of points a student can be awarded is 45.
