Welcome to the Visual and Performing Arts Program at Classen School of Advanced Studies High School @ Northeast where we provide artistically talented young people with rigorous conservatory-style training in the arts.

Our VPA Program has eight components:

Each of our students is required to perform in a variety of settings at the school and community level through art exhibitions, drama productions, musical concerts, and dance events.  Students are often asked to interact with community members considered to be professionals in their field. We believe these experiences provide our students with authentic experiences that prepare them for a career in their selected field of study. Each VPA program is demanding, with a focus on skill and concept mastery complemented with a study of literature and culture of the arts. We believe this results in a uniquely accomplished and educated student that is well prepared for the professional and university worlds.
