Ms. Emily Burris
Ms. Emily Burris has been selected as the head principal for Quail Creek Elementary School for the 2024-25 school year.
Ms. Burris is an accomplished educator with nine years of dedicated service in education. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University (OSU) and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO).
Emily began her career teaching first grade in Yukon, where she also served as an instructional specialist. Her passion for leadership and commitment to student success led her to Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS), where she currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Cleveland.
Throughout her career, Ms. Burris has been recognized for her leadership and contributions to education. She is a distinguished member of the Oklahoma City Leadership Academy (OKCLA) class of 2024 and was part of the prestigious Moving Up Cohort at the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OKSDE) in 2023.
Emily Burris continues to inspire and lead with a focus on creating a positive and impactful educational environment for all students.
