MEET OUR STEAM & G.A.T.E. TEACHER

STEAM is the study of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.  Ms. Leann Tapp is our new STEAM teacher but she also our Gifted and Talented coordinator.  She works directly with students and develops strategies, skills, tools, and techniques in order to effectively teach STEAM.  In education, STEAM is an integrated approach that incorporates the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math as a means of developing student inquiry, communication and critical thinking during learning (Riley, 2014).
