COLLEGE INFORMATION-VIRTUAL VISIT INFORMATION

    For those of you who are on the process of applying:
      1. You apply at apply.ou.edu 
      2. Please email Lacretia Glazner or Donna Hill to send OU your transcript through email to oardocuments@ou.edu

      4. We are test optional so you get to choose if you will turn in your ACT/SAT to us. If you are, make sure it is on your transcript, or you can also go on the ACT/SAT website and pay a small fee for them to send to us. Some students automatically sent their test scores after they took it so we might already have it and you don't have worry about sending it anymore. Ask me and I will check the system by emailing me back. 
      5. You will need to write a personal essay that is an average of about a pg. There are 7 different questions and the last one says write about anything you want. Make sure to keep it personal and unique. If you are having trouble with ideas. Email me and we can talk about it. 
      6. Letters of Recommendation are optional; however, I highly recommend everyone to turn in at least 3. 
      7. The application fee is $40.00. Let me know if you need help with paying the fee and I will give you options to waive it. 
      8. FRESHMEN SUPPLEMENTAL SCHOLARSHIP ESSAYS: SUPER IMPORTANT. However, they are optional. I highly encourage all of you to turn them in for scholarship opportunities. Those need to have effort put in them, if not I will not be able to advocate for you. Email me if you have questions about them. The last day to turn them in is December 15.
      9. Important thing to note. If you are not test optional, you can retake your test all the way until April 30th of next year. 
      10. Everyone, please fill out your FAFSA at fafsa.ed.gov. Please not that if you are a student with high unmet need, you can qualify for our room and board resources to help pay for your housing. Please ask me about them and we will get started with the process.

      13. If you are Oklahoma's Promise, you have a really good financial package, please email me and we will talk about what your package looks like.
