Our mission at Frederick A. Douglass High School is to increase academic achievement to a level that will prepare all students for success in college or a career.

Trojan Vision
Douglass High School will provide a safe, rigorous environment for all students by focusing on standards-based instruction, making data-driven decisions, and providing effective communication to parents and the community.

1. Increasing Academic Achievement
   Consistent delivery of the Oklahoma Academic Standards developed through standards-based planning with data collected and analyzed through standards-based assessments 
2. Increasing Attendance
   Increasing student attendance through authentic relationship building, consistent communication with parents, examination of disciplinary procedures, and implementation of positive behavioral interventions 
3. Increasing Postsecondary Opportunities
   Making sure all students are prepared for and given opportunities to take advanced courses that will enhance their likelihood of success after high school
4. Increasing Graduation Rates
   Providing support for all students to successfully earn their high school diploma
