Mrs. Alicia Stevens-Blair
Alicia Stevens-Blair is the Principal of Mary Golda Ross Middle School, where she leads with a vision of equity, innovation, and student success. With a strong commitment to creating opportunities for all learners, Alicia has focused her leadership on raising academic achievement, strengthening family and community partnerships, and building supportive systems for English Language Learners and economically disadvantaged students.
Mrs. Blair holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. She began her career in education as a paraprofessional and has served in both elementary and middle school settings, working in general and special education before moving into school leadership. These experiences have given her a deep understanding of students' needs across grade levels and diverse learning contexts.
Throughout her career, Alicia has been recognized for her ability to inspire collaboration among staff, foster a culture of growth, and design professional learning that builds teacher capacity. Her work reflects a deep belief that schools must not only meet academic needs but also nurture the social, emotional, and cultural strengths of every student.
