FD Moon Middle School is committed to Standard-Based practices through traditional and digital means. Our teachers are trained and supported in the implementation of Standard-Based Planning, Instruction, and Assessing. We utilize the OKCPS standards, which can be accessed here.

Standard-Based Instruction is our attempt to ensure students throughout the district will have access to the same rigorous material, no matter which school they attend. In addition, OKCPS developed Bundles to lay out a road map of which standards will be taught during which quarter. This means that if a student begins instruction at one school, but has to transfer to another, the same material will be waiting for him at his/her new school. 

Parents are encouraged to access the Bundles through the OKCPS website as a way to know what is being taught to their child in the classroom and how they can support the instruction at home.
