The Oklahoma State Department of Education (OKSDE) has released the final data from last spring's state assessments, which are the results of the tests your student took this past April.
It’s no secret that the last few years have been challenging for everyone, especially our young learners. As a reminder, families should focus on their student’s individual results, which will help them to understand where their child is relative to the end-of-year grade-level expectations. OKCPS is working hard to address learning loss that occurred during the pandemic by investing in new programs and ways to make learning more engaging to help our students fill in learning gaps.
Using ESSER funds, OKCPS has implemented programs like, Raising a Reader, which gives our elementary students access to books to take home and read with their families. We’ve also invested in Special Education, online learning, access to 24/7 tutors, and additional staff members at school sites to support our students and their families.
In our early evaluation of our assessment data, OKCPS has seen a strong correlation between schools that have high participation in reading contests and higher scores on the reading portion of the standardized test.
Over the next several weeks, OKCPS teams will dive further into this assessment data, which will include comparison to previous years. This will allow us to make adjustments where necessary and expand programs or initiatives that are showing success.
How to Access State Assessment Scores
Families can access their child’s test scores online through the OSTP Data Portal.
OKSDE made several changes to the OSTP that are important for our families to know.

A single student may have up to 3 parent accounts associated with them. Once the student is associated with 3 parent accounts, no additional parent accounts can be linked to that student.

A single parent account may have multiple students associated with it. After the parent creates the account with an initial student, the parent may add additional students to the parent account.

To implement these changes, all current accounts were deleted in June 2022. This means, ALL family members who have not created a new account since June 2022 will need to create new accounts using a valid email address to gain access to the Parent Portal.
Before you visit the OSTP portal, you will need to know your student(s) State testing ID number. To find this number:

Log into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal

Click “documents” on the left side of the screen

Open your child’s most recent report card.

Your student’s State Testing ID number will be located in the upper right corner of the report card. You will need that number to access their data in the OSTP Parent Portal.
