    Our new website has been redesigned to help improve our commitment to provide ongoing communication with our staff, families and community.


    The new

    • Was developed with input from district parents, staff and community members.
    • Provides the district with improved cyber-security for information posted and available on the website.
    • Is cost effective. By bundling our website content management system with Blackboard, the company that provides the district with our phone messaging system and parent mobile app; we were able to update the district site with new features without increasing costs associated with the website.
    • Is connected to the OKCPS ParentLink mobile app for a seamless communication process.
    • Offers a responsive web design, our new site adapts its layout and size to the device being used for easier viewing.
    • Is equipped with global icons that can be found on any OKCPS department or school page for easy navigation.

    TIPS (Threat Assessment, Incident Management and Prevention Services) is a reporting system for students and parents to make appropriate OKCPS officials aware of potential threats to the safety of our students and staff. Such threats could include:

    • weapons possession
    • drug/alcohol use
    • harassment or intimidation
    • school vandalism
    • physical assault
    • threats of violence
    • suicide risk
    • abuse or neglect
    • other incidents
