April 20, 2022 | OKCPS Announces Summer Learning for 2022
OKCPS Families,
Save the date! From June 6th through July 8th, OKCPS students currently in grades K - 12th will have the opportunity to participate in summer learning and activities that will keep them connected to learning during the summer months.
- Elementary*: Lessons and activities for elementary students include ELA, Math, STEM, arts, PE and more!
- Middle School: Students will have the opportunity to participate in ELA, Math and choose from over 50 enrichment courses, including video production, fashion illustration, culinary arts and coding.
- High School**: During the morning session, students needing credit recovery will attend class. During the afternoon session, students will have the opportunity to participate in Band/Color Guard, Choir, Dance, Guitar, Theater and Visual Arts. Student athletes will also have the opportunity to participate in strength and conditioning camps in the afternoon.
*Please note that summer learning is not available for current PreK students.
**Only school counselors can enroll high school students in the Summer Program.
Transportation can be provided from the student's home school to the assigned summer learning site. Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack will also be provided.
