OKCPS to Host First Ever Board Meeting at New Clara Luper Center for Educational Services
OKCPS is excited to hold our first ever Board of Education meeting in our new Clara Luper Center for Educational Services this coming Monday, November 9th. We are also happy to hold an in-person meeting for the first time since March.
Due to the pandemic, OKCPS has put safety protocols in place for Monday’s meeting. COVID-19 safety protocols require chairs to be set apart with appropriate social distancing, which impacts our capacity limit for attendees. Our new boardroom can safely accommodate only 39 patrons. Seats are not reserved but will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. OKCPS will livestream this meeting which can be viewed by visiting www.okcps.org/livestream at 5:30pm Monday.
Attendees will be required to wear a face covering that covers both the nose and mouth at all times, have their temperature checked and sign in to provide contact information in the event contract tracing needs to occur.
Public comments will also be in-person for this meeting. Anyone wishing to address the board can sign up beginning at 5pm on the day of the meeting. Patrons who aren’t comfortable attending in person, but who wish to address the board may email board members at any time.
