Change to Monday, December 6th | Now Non-Instructional Day
OKCPS Families,
Monday, December 6th was originally scheduled as the next asynchronous learning day. However, OKCPS will shift this to a non-instructional day for students. This means students will not have to log-in and will not have any new lessons, but they can use this time to work on incomplete or upcoming assignments if needed.
Please note, this shift will not lengthen the 2021-2022 school year or require an additional instructional day be added to the calendar during the spring semester.
Families will have the option to pick up one meal for each of their children on Monday, December 6th.
-
One meal (supper) will be served to any child/student age 1-18.
-
Meals are available for pick-up between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm
-
Meals will be served at all OKCPS school sites (including PK Centers)
-
Families will be asked to provide the name of each child/student they are collecting a meal for.
At this time, we aren’t making any changes to the rest of the scheduled asynchronous learning days in 2022, however, that could change. We will update you on asynchronous days as needed moving forward.
Again, Monday, December 6th is now a non-instructional day for students. Schools will be closed to students. Students do not need to login to Canvas and there will be no new assignments given on Monday, December 6th.
We hope our families enjoyed the past week to rest and spend time with family or friends. We are happy to have our students back in class. Let’s have a great week!
