Voices for the Future
In November 2024, the OKCPS Board of Education launched their Voices of the Future campaign, inviting all OKCPS students, families, staff and the entire community to help shape the district’s strategic goals for the next five years - 2025-2030. Through in-person listening sessions across the District and an online multi-language survey, the Board gathered more than 16,000 pieces of valuable feedback with broad community representation.
In May 2025, the Board shared their draft strategic goals and guardrails for Oklahoma City Public Schools, which were officially adopted on June 9, 2025.
The 3 goals outline what OKCPS aims to achieve, while the 4 guardrails protect our core values as we work toward those goals. Together, they will guide our “Future Driven 2030” five-year strategic plan and ensure OKCPS stays aligned with our shared vision: Every student graduates ready to fulfill their unique purpose in a healthy, vibrant community.
