The Legal Services Department is guided by our core values of equity, character and excellence.
We exist to prevent problems, find solutions, and guide district policy in service to our students, teachers, families, staff, and constituents. We also advise on a number of education related issues including personnel issues, student discipline, Board policy, student grievances, contract negotiations, Special Education, Section 504, charter schools, and statutory interpretation.
