IT Services Operational Scope

  • 41,000 Google Apps for Education/GSuite email accounts for students and staff. An average of 32,000 emails are processed each day. Around 23,000 come from outside of the district with 36% of them being classified as SPAM.
  • 42 Employees within the areas of Network & Telecommunications, Network Servers & Storage, Applications Development, Applications & Software, Help Desk, IT Security Systems, Student Information System, and Client Services.
  • Storage of 1132 terabytes of data, with site-to-site backups completed daily.  58 physical and 120 virtual servers for district software and data support.
  • 10GB Internet bandwidth with over 40 terabytes of data moving the Wide Area Network from July 1, 2016 to March 24, 2017
  • 16.5K Number of requests processed for technology assistance for the 2014-2015 fiscal year.
  • 26 Approved software titles are used by faculty and students.
