2026 Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS)
Board of Education (BOE) Election
At it's November 10, 2025, the OKCPS BOE adopted a resolution calling the 2026 OKCPS School Board Election. The two OKCPS BOE seats in the 2026 school board election are District 5 (currently filled by the Honorable Mike Shelton) and District 7 (currently filled by the Honorable Megan McElhaney).
The period to file at the Oklahoma County Election Board offices to run for these OKCPS BOE seats closed at 5:00 pm on December 3, 2025. Below is the unofficial list of candidates who filed to run for the two OKCPS Board seats as of 5:09pm, Dec. 3, 2025:
