Roosevelt Counseling Team Earns National Recognition!

The counseling team at Roosevelt Middle School is earning national recognition and setting the standard for student support across Oklahoma.

Roosevelt has been awarded the Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) designation by the American School Counselor Association. This honor highlights the team’s commitment to a comprehensive, data-driven counseling program that supports academic success, career readiness, and student well-being.

Roosevelt is currently the only middle school in Oklahoma to earn this distinction. This also marks the second RAMP designation for OKCPS, joining Wilson Elementary, which earned recognition in 2025. Together, they are the only two schools in the state with this honor.

The RAMP designation recognizes schools aligned with the ASCA National Model framework and demonstrating strong outcomes through intentional program planning and student support. Nationwide, more than 1,600 schools have earned this recognition.

Please join us in congratulating the Roosevelt counseling team for this outstanding achievement and their continued impact on students and their school community.
