Devon Tower & Skydance Bridge to Light up for OKCPS!

Each fall, the citizens of Oklahoma City entrust Oklahoma City Public Schools with what matters most, their children. For generations, we have educated, inspired, and helped shape students who have gone on to strengthen our neighborhoods, businesses, and communities. The story of Oklahoma City has always been intertwined with the story of its public schools.

This year, that story continues. A Big League City deserves Big League Schools, and thanks to voters' investment through the historic 2022 Bond, new schools and College and Career Centers are transforming the educational experience for thousands of students while strengthening the connection between Oklahoma City and its public schools. 

This week, that shared OKCPS pride was on full display:

• August 9 and 10 - The iconic OKCPS bird illuminated atop the Devon Tower, the tallest building in Oklahoma.  

• August 11 - Celebrate another successful #OKCPSDay1 as Skydance Bridge shines in our district colors, honoring the beginning of a new school year.
