You can volunteer as a Reading Buddy to help an OKCPS student improve their reading skills and inspire them to love to read! As a Reading Buddy, your goals are to:

• Spend quality consistent time with students to increase self-esteem, foster self-motivation, and promote responsibility
• Assist in improving students’ attitudes towards reading

There are different ways to get involved as a Reading Buddy, but ultimately will be decided by the principal based on the needs of their students.

The first step to volunteering as a Reading Buddy is to complete the OKCPS volunteer application.
