Objectives:
Students will:
1. use internet and public records to conduct research
2. use the pyramid approach for news writing
3. write and revise rough drafts
4. identify news as newsworthy or not
5. publish newspaper using PageMaker and PhotoShop

*Interviewing techniques
-go over interviewing tip sheet ASNE
-practice writing questions that will elicit information not just yes/no
-practice interviewing teacher and fellow students
*Publish paper October 24th
*Go over information p. 16-25 T
-finding artcles
-finding sources
-interviewing
* Grammar usage - identifying nominative and subjunctive
* Write and put on computer rough draft for October.
