Hi. I'm Eby Grove. Yes, THAT Ms. Grove, who taught at NWC every year from '66 to now. I'm happy to tell you I still LOVE it.
I never had to go anywhere else because many different experiences have come to me right here at Northwest Classen.
I have enjoyed almost everyday of every year. As extracurricular experiences I remember fondly the Coronet Pep Club,
the Northwest Classen Majorettes, and the Class of '89. Currently, I find professional satisfaction as an AP English Language teacher.
I thank God for the privilege of spending so many rewarding days in the only job I was ever supposed to have. Thanks, also, to every student in my life, past, present, and future. I want to recognize Kathy Martin Jackson, N.W.C. '70, for teaching me a student can also be a friend, and Helen Hoepfner, N.W.C. '01, for reminding me it's never too late for one more. FOr all my student friends in between, I quote Arthur from the musical Camelot: You are "one of what we all are. Less than a drop in the great blue motion of the sunlit sea. But it seems some of the drops sparkle. SOme of them do sparkle!"
