ATTENDANCE
Success in
this class is directly related to attendance and homework practices. This is a
difficult class to miss, because if you miss the notes you could have
difficulty in doing the assignment. It could also lead to difficulty with the
next lesson that requires previous knowledge from the class that was missed.
Doing homework EVERY CLASS PERIOD is VERY IMPORTANT! If you do need to miss a
class, you need to contact someone in your class or me BEFORE the next class
period and come in with your assignment done just as if you had been in class.
When you are absent the homework that the class graded, on the day you were
absent, MUST BE GRADED, the day you return to class or there will be NO CREDIT.
You assignments will also be posed on my webpage www.okcps.org/teacher/cjbrown.
If you were absent you have 5 school days to make up the assignment FROM THE
CLASS MISSED. If not turned in during the 5 days there will be NO CREDIT. I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY LATE PAPERS
MISSING A TEST:
If you miss a
test, you have 5 SCHOOL DAYS to get it made up after school for credit. After
the 4 days you have missed your opportunity to make up the test and will
receive a zero for the test.
GRADING

score a 3 or below you can earn one point back by “red penning” it, when gone
over in class. These problems are to be done by you alone, not with
