Michael Payne is OKCPS Teacher of the Year!

Teaching Drama & Theater to grades 7-8 at Classen SAS is his passion. “The way curriculum is taught is as important to me as the curriculum itself. I teach my students to think of state-mandated objectives as the script, the learning process as the rehearsal, & the measurement of their learning as the theatrical show.” Valerie Harris, principal, said he has been at Classen since 1998.
