Candidates who submit resumes/applications to fill this position must meet the qualification requirements outlined in the attached OKCPS Board Policy B-04 which includes the requirement that they must have been a resident of, and a registered voter of, the school district and the election district (or ward) for at least six (6) months immediately preceding the filing period (OKCPS Board District 4 Map linked on the right).
The attached application, titled, “APPLICATION - OKCPS Board Mbr Candidate for Dist. 4 Seat Vacancy-APR-2017” contains all the required forms to be submitted with your resume. Please note, the Declaration of Candidacy form must be notarized. A notary is available in the Board Clerk's Office. Please call (405) 587-0444, in advance, to ensure notary is available or notarize prior to delivery. Each candidate’s Resume and Application must be submitted together.
The Candidates' Resumes, and Applications (which include the Declaration of Candidacy and other forms) must be filed with the OKCPS Board Clerk via hand-delivery or e-mail between 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2017, and 4:30 p.m., Friday, April 28, 2017.
Any resumes and applications that are incomplete, not notarized, or not received by the OKCPS Board Clerk by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017, shall not be accepted / considered. Hand-Delivery: 900 North Klein, Room 220, OKC, OK 73106 (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., M-F).
