Learning Focus is AIM I in our district. To truly achieve this Aim we must be committed to continuous improvement. We know that huge disparities exist in America as it pertains to student achievement. The challenge of reform is evident in public education, and OKCPS is providing a “School Leadership Coaching Academy” for our principals. Our principals are engaging in this three-part academy and the first session was held on October 31. The purpose is to review and analyze factors that impact student learning and create solutions which adapt leadership skills to positively impact achievement. Follow-up sessions will be held in December and March.
