News Anchors of Tomorrow" Program.

following news stories:

A
tribute to Mr. Ralph Ellison, a famous author, best known for his
groundbreaking observations on race relations and name sake of the
Ralph Ellison Library on MLK and 23rd Street.

A
segment about a portrait done by Wanda Scott of Mr. Ellison on
display in our local PARK newsroom and at the Ralph Ellison Library.

Silvia
Borta did a
live interview with Ms. Tierney Cook
from News 5 KOCO and
Mr. Michael Jackson,
a former instructor at Langston University.
PARK's
meteorologist, Mr. Joe'l Ortiz, 2nd grader,
gave the local weather report and showed on the United States map where
some of our balloons, from last month's balloon launch, have been
spotted.
PARK's
camera lady, Rayven Jackson, 3rd grader,
filmed the afternoon news program.
PARK's
news anchors, Miss Silvia Borta, Mr. Warren Conerly and meteorologist,
Mr. Joe'l Ortiz
were featured this morning, Tuesday, May 15th, on
the Eyewitness News
5 Morning News segment with Mr. John Flick, Ms. Tierney Cook and Mr.
Rusty McCranie!
The
students received instruction and coaching in public speaking from Ms.
Gray-Martin, Instructional Facilitator.
