OSBI Agents, Firefighters and Hairdressers Converge on Webster Middle School

Oklahoma City – In an effort to introduce students to what careers are waiting for them, Webster Middle School teachers are opening school doors to professional workers from around the city. All this week, a series of guest speakers will address students of Webster Middle School at 6708 S. Santa Fe about what they do and the steps students need to take to reach the same goal.

“We will have people ranging from OSBI agents, to real estate agents, hair dressers, and firefighters,” says Sarah Ross, teacher at Webster. “My students will be writing a report about their ideal career, what they need to do to have that career, and why they would be suited for the job.”

Media is invited to the school on Tuesday May 2, as agents with the OSBI will be speaking to 7th grade science classes all day.  This is part of a lesson in crime scene investigation. There will be other business professionals on hand addressing additional classes.
