Because Babies are Born Learning …

Free Classes for Families with Children Ages Birth to 5

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Public School District is offering “READY! for Kindergarten”, a program for parents who have children newborn to age 5. This program shares information about the lively early-learning years before a child enters school, which lays the foundation for future learning.  READY! teaches parents how to “Play with a Purpose” which builds strong minds and relationships.  Parents learn activities and receive materials to make learning at home fun and effective.  

            Classes are free to families within the Oklahoma City Public School district, and free child care is provided. Parents pick one class to attend for each child under 5 years old.  Classes will be held at: Martin Luther King Elementary School, 1201 NE 48^th St.   You may choose from the following classes:             

            Saturday, Nov. 11^th 10:00-11:30am

Monday, Nov. 13^th 6-7:30pm

Tuesday, Nov. 14^th 6-7:30pm

Thursday, Nov. 16^th 6-7:30pm

This program is brought to the Oklahoma City Public School community by Smart Start Central Oklahoma in partnership with the Inasmuch Foundation and the Oklahoma City Public School system. The registration form is attached.
