Heronville Elementary Student Goes to School by Fire Truck

Oklahoma City –Efren Fuentes, a second grade student at Heronville Elementary at 1240 SW 29, gets a lift to school Tuesday, December 6 thanks to the Oklahoma City Fire Department.  Fuentes was selected as a winner in the 2005 OCFD Fire Safety Escape Plan Drawing Contest. As part of his prize, firefighters will pick Fuentes up at his home and give him a ride to school in a fire truck.  The fire engine and Efren should arrive at the school between 8:00 and 8:15 a.m. The entire school will be outside to cheer Efren on as he arrives. Media is encouraged to attend the drop-off.
