C.S.A.S. “Can Brigade” Loading up for Regional Food Bank

Oklahoma City – Hundreds of students at the Classen School of Advanced Studies at 1901 N. Ellison will be shoulder to shoulder at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22 loading thousands of cans of donated food for the Regional Food Bank.

            “Our annual Harvest Food Drive brought in more than 5,000 cans of food just in time for Thanksgiving,” says Dr. Ron Maxfield, CSAS Principal. “Our students really got behind this year’s drive and all are very proud of this accomplishment.”

            The students will line up and move the cans hand to hand from the media center to the food bank trucks. Also on display will be “food can sculptures” designed by students. Media is invited to attend this event.
