‘56 NW Classen Grad Rides Bike from LA to OKC for 50^th Reunion

While most Northwest Classen High School graduates of the Class of 1956 will be arriving in Oklahoma City in planes, trains and automobiles this weekend for their 50^th high school reunion, classmate Larry Taylor will be peddling his way to OKC from LA, Calif. Taylor is due to arrive at Northwest Classen High School, 2801 NW 28^th Street, at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 14. Several of his classmates plan to meet him there.

Taylor was always known to be an active member of his high school class according to classmates but everyone was still a little surprised when they received a call today to inform them he would be riding into Oklahoma City tomorrow. As a member of the high school band, pep club and also the chairman of a campaign that raised $10,000 for cancer research and a memorial in memory of a classmate, Taylor is used to hard work and dedication to his class and after 50 he is still doing it.

The class has planned several activities to mark this golden reunion.
