Motorcycle Group Takes Over Elementary School Hallways

Oklahoma City – More than two dozen bikers will descend on Mark Twain Elementary School at 2451 W. Main Street to present a donation to help with student needs. The Freedom Riders Motorcycle Club raised $2,500 and will present the check by driving three motorcycles down the hallways of Mark Twain and into the school auditorium at 8:45 a.m. Friday, September 9.

“Mark Twain depends on donations like this one from the motorcycle club,” says Charles Tompkins, principal at Mark Twain. “This is an exciting way to show our students the community cares about them.”

Jack Bryant, Vice President of Continuing Education at Redlands Community College will be presenting the check to the school. The check presentation is part of Mark Twain’s Fantastic Friday celebration which includes birthdays and other student recognitions.
