Looking at our       Leadership @ Jackson        2007-2008

Jackson continues to enjoy the leadership of Principal Steve Johnson. He is in his eleventh year at JMS and enjoys a good relationship with other key educators the District. Mr. Richard Ross is our Director for the Capitol Hill Learning Community.

We are also fortunate to keep Sandra Simpson-Franklin as our Assistant Principal; she is a veteran district administrator and also our Athletic Director.  We welcome back Mrs. Elsie Winston as our other Assistant Principal.

Jackson is thankful to have two of the District's finest counselors, Anna Beth Heidebrecht and Joyce Parham, as well as,  Diana Maples, our Media Specialist (welcome back!), and Sgt. Albertson, our campus officer from the O.C.P.D.

Anna Beth Heidebrecht will serve as Department Chair for Special Education.  Mrs. Froede and Mrs. Heitzman are our Lead Technology Educators (LTEs), Kim Nelson is our Activities Director, and Mrs. Froede is our Professional Development Building Leader (PDBL).
