Hello! Belle Isle Enterprise students have consistently performed at a high level on academic achievement assessments and continue to show improvement each year. Our students scored a 1440 API (Academic Performance Index) for the 2006-2007 school year. This was an improvement on our previous score of 1437, which was the highest middle school or junior high score in the following districts: Oklahoma City, Putnam City, Edmond, Yukon, Mid-Del, Piedmont, Norman, and Moore. Last year student scores on all state mandated criterion-referenced tests were in the 90+ percentiles. Student scores in each of the individual subject tests were as follows:
Belle Isle was awarded the 2004 NCLB Blue Ribbon School Award in its first year of eligibility and was chosen as one of the six Blue Ribbon schools to be featured on the United States Department of Education website. In 2005, our school was named one of Oklahoma's Best Practices Schools. I am so very proud of my students and the master teachers who have guided them to this high level of academic success.
