Tests that are scheduled for this year are: EXPLORE Test for 8^th Graders This will be given early September. This test covers the areas of English, Math, Reading, and Science Reasoning. The tests measure your students’ skills in areas that are important for future education and careers. The results not only give academic strengths and weaknesses but also a suggested career based on questions your student answered about their interests and plans after high school. OK School Testing Program (OSTP) OK Core Curriculum Tests (OCCT) End of Instruction tests (EOI) February 20 Writing Test 8^th grade April 10-April 25 Science, Social Studies 8^th grade Reading, Math 6^th and 7^th grades April 10-May 2 Online Reading, Math 8^th grade Online Geography 7^th grade April 10-May 9 End of Instruction tests in Algebra I and Geometry These are very important tests for all of our students. Other schools will use the results from these tests when our students apply to High School. Spring scores from student’s 7^th Grade year are the scores used by the High Schools because 8^th Grade scores will not be available until after applications are due. Home
