There are originally six companies in JROTC. The company is for all cadets that are willing to strive and to have fun. JROTC has L.E.T. (Leadership, Education, and Training) levels. If it is your first year of JROTC then you are a first year LET, if you area second year in JROTC then you are a second year LET and so on. Each leader is given a seperate rank to  show leadership.  The highest rank in the company is the captain (or the Company Commander). The lowest rank is Private, which is a rookie first year cadet. You advance in rank when you demonstrate good leadership skills, determination, dedication, and represent JROTC with pride. Here are some examples of what the companies do when they work as a successful unit.

In a company you start out to learn your basic left face, right face, and about face. In the drill team you learn a little more beyond that. Drill team is a special team that does events to entertain the people with their skill in drill movements. They have won many awards and recognitions in their Free style drill. here are some videos to show you what an honor and how fun it  is to be in drill team. The instructor that runs this is 1SG Connie Jones.

[Saber Team and Color Guard 2007]

The Saber team is closely related to the Color Guard. They do flag ceremonies and presentations. Instead of using rifles guards there are sabers and saber bearers. The Saber Team wears the dress blue uniforms or Class A. There are a huge hit at parades and assemblies at school. They are known by wearing cross sabers on their uniforms and by the golden beret and golden chord worn on their shoulders.

The Saber Team and Color Guard instructor is MSG Richard Meza.
