The Star Spencer Athletic Department is committed to developing the complete student athlete through academics, character building, and  interscholastic competitions.  Team sports provide a since of belonging, achievement, and teaches our young people how to work with others to achieve a common goal.  Star Spencer has always been known for it's basketball programs, however, we are developing all of our sports to be competitive.

(Mr. Juan Villarreal)      We offer a variety of sports both, girls and boys, that fits the needs of our student body.  We encourage our students to participate in our extracurricular activities.

As always academics are always our first concern. In order to participate in athletics, the student-athlete must maintain  at least  "C" average.  The Oklahoma City Public school district is in accordance with the Oklahoma Secondary School Association's - no pass no play rule.  We are concerned about the complete student-athlete  and we offer after school tutoring programs for students who may be having difficulty achieving in the class room.

The Bobcat fans are some of the most proud and supportive in the state.  We encourage our fans to show the same sportsmanship, class, and dignity that we expect from our students.   We encourage all of our parents  to come and patronize their child.  Parental support child is a very important aspect of high school sports.
