General Information
Senior Activities: Only senior activities listed in this countdown are school sponsored activities. The school is NOT responsible in any way for activities planned by individual students.
Class Attendance: All students must be in class or attending authorized school activities every hour of the school day until graduation. There is no sanctioned cut day, nor is the last week free for seniors.
Senior Announcements: Late orders for announcements may be arranged by individuals contacting Jostens at 635-3400. Address is
8109 South I-35 Service Road. Office hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday thru Friday. Late orders mean you will have to pay in full.
Senior Obligations: All obligations incurred while at John Marshall must be paid in full before you can receive a cap and gown or diploma. A list will be posted by April 18 if you have an obligation of any kind.
Expense payments: All facilities and services for commencement are paid for by members of the graduating class. The senior assessment packet ($60.00) is designed to pay for these expenses. All seniors must pay the assessment packet of $60.00. Those students who wish to attend the senior outing and purchase a class picture may do so at extra cost.
Appropriate Dress: With the exception of your class picture, you should wear the following with your cap/gown:
Men – white or light shirt & tie, dark dress slacks and dark dress shoes.
Women- collarless dress that is shorter than gown, dark dress shoes.
No large jewelry will be worn with the gown.
Information: Questions concerning senior activities should be directed to the sponsor in charge listed on this countdown. General questions about anything else on the countdown should be directed to Mrs. Caton.

| COMMENCEMENT PRACTICE |
Attendance is MANDATORY. Seniors should plan to arrive on time and stay until rehearsal is complete. If you do not attend rehearsal, you will NOT WALK in the commencement exercises that evening.Normal school dress. Be prepared to pay for parking.

Seniors should report to the assembly area by 5:15 p.m. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.

| PICTURES AT COMMENCEMENT |
A professional photographer will be present at the commencement exercises. He will take your picture as you receive your diploma. Purchase is voluntary.

| DIPLOMA PICK UP |
Each senior will pick up his/her diploma in the main foyer. IF ANY STUDENT SHOWS AN UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR DURING THE CEREMONY, HE/SHE WILL IMMEDIATELY, AND THEIR DIPLOMA WI LL BE HELD. |
